I’m Bhaba Shrestha. By day, I work in business development in Beijing. In parallel, I manage artists, run studio operations, and help build Nepal’s music infrastructure from the ground up. The commercial discipline from one world sharpens everything I do in the other and that combination is what makes the work different.

My professional formation happened in two demanding environments: China’s business development landscape and Nepal’s emerging music industry. Neither was particularly forgiving. Both required me to develop capacities quickly and apply them under pressure.
Working in business development in China gave me something that most people in creative industries lack: direct exposure to high-stakes commercial negotiation, cross-cultural professional communication, and the operational discipline that international business demands. That training shapes how I think about every creative project I’m involved in.
Running parallel careers — full-time business and music operations — has produced a level of operational maturity that comes only from sustained high-volume work. I’m not someone who studies music management. I practice it, across multiple live projects, simultaneously.
